Skeleton in My Closet

My blog is typically about my creative ventures, but just had to share a skeleton in my closet - lol! One of my nursing goals this year is to come up with some type of team building activity for the nursing department (fairly small with only about 40 to 50 staff including attendants) on a quarterly basis. Since May 6 - 12 is when we celebrate Nurses' Week, we planned a Nursing Olympics event. We had a wheelchair obstacle course, pill counting competition, and a Nursing Feud game (based on the Family Feud game on TV). As you can see in the picture, we literally worked one nurse to the bone! It was hard work, but fun! My day didn't allow for any stamping time, but I was so happy to check on my Paper Doll friends and see that Vicki Dutcher had given me the Beautiful Blogger Award - thanks, Vicki...you really made my day! I guess this means I need to share something about myself...
1. I'm addicted to stamping until it's almost an obsession! :-)
2. Since starting my blog in January, I've also added blogging to my hobby list.
3. I love interior decorating and often get asked to help co-workers decorate their work spaces. If I wasn't a nurse, that might very well be my second choice for a vocation.
4. Remember...the mighty oak was once a nut that held its ground!

Wanda - didn't anyone tell you NOT to work yourself and/or co-workers to the bone! Glad I don't work with you - LOL
