Viva la Verve

The Free 4 All Challenge on SCS calls us to use a "Hello Sunshine" theme, so I chose sunny yellow/orange hues, Tim Holtz' "Rays" EF, and a sunny sentiment. The elements were arranged using Sankari's fabulous Viva la Verve sketch challenge on the Verve forum. I also used 3 patterned papers so this qualifies for the Paper Cutz Challenge. I love to layer this Verve flower and added Cinnamon Stickles to the centers. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
STAMPS: Great Friend (Verve) - flower; Let it Shine (Verve) - sentiment; Delightful Dahlia (PTI) - leaves.
PAPER: Photo Mat Blue by My Mind's Eye Home pad, Neenah Solar White
INK: Crushed Curry
ACCESSORIES: Large dot EF, Tim Holtz rays EF, Cinnamon Stickles, Corner Chomper, 2 kinds of lace trim

Think Spring!

This card is for 5 challenges:
ODBD Shining Light Challenge - sketch
ODBD Stamping in Time - All God's creatures great and small
Raise the Bar - N.E.W. (Nestie/Embellishment/White)
Inkspirations Color Challenge - Blushing Bride, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, White
Paper Cutz Challenge - It's Your Choice (any themes, any colors)
I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black on X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copics then used a color spritzing tool (or a spitter as I call it) to spritz dark brown Tombow marker ink on it. The Early Espresso border is a new punch by EK Success called Chinese Knot Chain.

PAPER: Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso, Whisper White
ACCESSORIES: Oval Nesties, Label Sixteen Nesties, Color spritzing tool, MS butterfly punch, EK Success border punch, Embroidered trim, Ribbon (SU), Kaiser gold pearls

Vintage Thank You

This card is for 4 challenges:
Crazy 4 Challenges #70 - thank you sentiment
Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #53
Paper Cutz Challenge #74 - tag
Play Date Cafe Challenge #64 - colors: aqua, kraft, light gray
Papers are all from Tim Holtz Lost and Found Paper Stash. Card base is Vintage Cream from PTI. The sentiment is from Verve's new Sweet Treats set - just arrived in the mail today! Lace was a find at Scrapdoodles (stamping store in Fredericksburg, VA). Sweet Scallop Tag stamp was inked in Chocolate Chip then cut with the coordinating die from Verve. Martha's arch lattice border punch was used on the strip under the lace. A prima, some bling, and brass leaves (SU) were used to embellish.
My eyes are getting heavy...time to hit the hay!

My Umbrella

The week is flying by and I still haven't used Karen Giron's sketch for her Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge until now. This card is also for Paper Cutz Challenge to use metal ( I used brads) and for the Pile it On challenge to use cute children. I just love October Afternoon's Thrift Shop DP which I combined with PTI's Ripe Avocado, Spring Moss and Distressed Dots papers. I paper-pieced the image and colored parts of it with Copics. My sewing machine is VERY old and it is not cooperating with me! Thankfully, most of the stitching was covered up - lol!
STAMPS: Pure Innocence 'My Umbrella' by MFT
INK: Memento Tuxedo Black
ACCESSORIES: Circle & Lacey Circle Nesties, Word window punch (SU), Grass die (MFT), Brads

Tag, You're It!

I love to create tags and this is a simple one that meets the following challenges:
SCS CAS95 - Flower Accents
Our Creative Corner Challenge - Tag, you're it!
Crazy 4 Challenges - use script paper or script EF
Paper Cutz Challenge - Anything Goes
The tag base is DP from Memory Box's Mistletoe pack...the work is basically done for me! I added a punched holly border, cut the top corners using a decorative SU scissors, & embellished with a Verve poinsettia image that was stamped twice and layered. A last minute 'to' and 'from' with names and another package will be tagged.
STAMPS: Blessed Christmas (Verve)
PAPER: Mistletoe (Memory Box), Garden Green
INK: Memento Tuxedo Black, Tim Holtz Antique Linen distress ink
ACCESSORIES: MS Holly border punch, Corner chomper, Decorative scissors, Fibers, Copics, Rhinestone

Mojo Monday Plus 2 New Challenges

In addition to using Julee's fabulous Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, I also made this card for 2 new (to me) challenges:
Tuesday Taggers - feature the words Peace, Love, Joy on your project
Paper Cutz Challenge #68 - use lots of bling on a Christmas card
I had a brainstorm for my new MS holly punch (love those 40% coupons at Mike's!) and love how my wreath turned out! I punched a scalloped circle for the base, then layered 3 different punched papers. Some bling for the berries and a small circle Nestie with the sentiment finished it off. I outlined each holly leaf with a gold Spica pen - it adds a little more shimmer though it's hard to see in the photo. It was a gloriously warm day here in VA...am loving the upper 60's temperatures! Thanks for visiting my blog...I always love to read your comments!

INK: Cherry Cobbler
