Passage of Time

The last Tuesday Taggers' Challenge of 2010 was to use the theme 'Old Father Time' and is being sponsored by The Craft Barn. A lucky winner will get money to spend in their store! I used some of Tim Holtz' DP from his Lost and Found Paper Stash and ran it through the CB using the top note die. I then added some new shabby chic trim I found at Scrapdoodles on my shopping trip yesterday...thought it blended with this old narrow ribbon I've had forever. The sentiment was stamped in black on more paper from the same Paper Stash pad. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out my blog candy give-away!

The stocking was hung...

Challenges:
Creative Belli - Christmas themed embellishment
Tuesday Taggers - The stockings were hung...
Paper Sundaes - Anything but a square or rectangle
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes Christmas
I needed another gift card holder, so went with Claire's stocking template again. I created a belly band with the ribbon so it will slide off the top and the flap can be opened to reveal a gift card inside. The snowflake is a punch with Champagne Glass glitter added. DP is Mistletoe by Making Memories.

Mojo Monday Plus 2 New Challenges

In addition to using Julee's fabulous Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, I also made this card for 2 new (to me) challenges:
Tuesday Taggers - feature the words Peace, Love, Joy on your project
Paper Cutz Challenge #68 - use lots of bling on a Christmas card
I had a brainstorm for my new MS holly punch (love those 40% coupons at Mike's!) and love how my wreath turned out! I punched a scalloped circle for the base, then layered 3 different punched papers. Some bling for the berries and a small circle Nestie with the sentiment finished it off. I outlined each holly leaf with a gold Spica pen - it adds a little more shimmer though it's hard to see in the photo. It was a gloriously warm day here in VA...am loving the upper 60's temperatures! Thanks for visiting my blog...I always love to read your comments!
