Anything Goes...and Blog Giveaway!

Sadly, my time as a 'Fetti Friend is winding to a close after two months of guest designing for Reverse Confetti.  I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Jen and her design crew for having me!  I totally loved the January release and my card today shows stamps from the Kindness Cards and Something Wonderful sets.

The florals were colored with markers directly colored on the stamp than applied to the paper after "huffing" over it.  The matching die makes it so quick and easy as opposed to fussy cutting.  The background paper is from RC's Forever My Love 6x6 pad.

To share my love of Reverse Confetti, I'm offering a blog giveaway of the Kindness Cards stamp set and matching dies!  No requirements necessary other than commenting on this post.  After 3 days, I will pick a winner using random.org!

Thanks for stopping by and remember to comment for a chance to win free stamps and dies!

Anything Goes with Reverse Confetti

It's the weekend (YAY!!) and I've got a card to share that again shows how I up-cycled some puzzle pieces to use as embellishments to pair with this fun sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Heart Filled Sentiments stamp set!  My daughter is a fan of any punny cards, so this one went to her for Valentine's Day.

I painted the puzzle pieces with Liquitex Bright Aqua Green acrylic paint color then splattered them with yellow gold paint from Gansai Tambi Starry Colors palette.

Here's what I used:
STAMPS: Heart Filled Sentiments (Reverse Confetti)
PAPER: White, Black, Lime Green CS (Reverse Confetti)
INK: Versamark
DIES: Lacy Scallop Circles, Tag Me, Triple Chevies, Double Panel Hearts - all by Reverse Confetti

Special Offer at Reverse Confetti

***Scroll on down for my Color Throwdown post***

Happy Valentine's Day blog friends! ❤️  I wanted to share a special offer that is happening at Reverse Confetti - today only!

If you haven't used their products yet, today is the day to get an order in!  Their shipping is amazingly fast and you will love the great quality in everything they sell!  Yes...I'm a big fan!

Here's a card that showcases some of my favorites from their January release...

Not your typical Valentine colors but that's the rebel in me - lol!  I used alcohol inks for the background then splattered some yellow gold Gansai Tambi Starry Colors paint over it.  The outline of the Falling Hearts Panel die is the same size as one of the frames from the All Framed Up die set, so that's how I achieved the contrasting color!  Who can resist the adorable cheetahs with heart-shaped spots in the Love Spots stamp set?!

Reverse Confetti Blog Hop

The Confetti Crew and 'Fetti Friends are back with another blog hop and you'll see that love is in the air as you check out all the wonderful projects that are anything but a card! This was so much fun for me that I couldn't stop with just one project.  First up are two creations that play on the words of the sentiment "Love You To Pieces" from the January release set: Heart Filled Sentiments.

I re-purposed puzzle pieces to create this ornament (everyone has that puzzle box with missing pieces, so this is an idea for you!).  I used acrylic paint (Liquitex Cadmium Red Deep Hue) then splattered gold paint over all the pieces.  I adhered the pieces together in a heart shape using Tombow Multi Mono liquid glue.  Here you can see it hanging on the wall.

Items used for the tag:
STAMPS: Heart Filled Sentiments, Garden Bunch
PAPER: Very Merry 6x6 pad, Lime Green
DIES: Pierced Round Top Layers, Tag Me, Leafy

My second play on the sentiment is a jar filled with Reese's Pieces candy - a door prize I'm donating for our church's annual Valentine banquet.  It's so easy to add a tag to a Mason jar with a special topper!

Last, but not least, here is a fun way to dress up a plain frame...

This recent photo of our 18 month old grandson was too sweet not to frame!  Those dimples with that great smile make my heart melt!  I Copic-colored these cute images from the Heart Spots stamp set and attached a banner with another sentiment from Heart Filled Sentiments

❤️ There is a prize involved in this hop, so be sure to head on over to the Reverse Confetti blog to see how you could possibly be a winner!

Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop

Yay! Release day is here and  the Reverse Confetti store is open now for you to fill up your cart with items from this fabulous release! There is a rockin' blog hop going on with some incredibly talented special guests in addition to the Confetti Crew and the 'Fetti Friends!  Hopefully you've started at the beginning on the RC blog and you've arrived here after
visiting Deanne Kuntz

I have two cards to share with you and both have some of the beautiful new patterned paper - Forever My Love - along with stamps and dies from two of the five new stamp sets!

Using stamps from Congratulations, I was able to showcase some of RC's gorgeous inks: Iced Aqua, Bumblebee and Bellini.  I love the complete coverage that these inks give to solid stamp images!  Black enamel dots were adhered to the centers and a number of Leafy Confetti Cuts dies - cut from Lime Green CS -  were tucked in around the flowers.  TIP:  Press 'n Seal is a lifesaver for "holding" the florals together so you can flip it over and add glue to the back to then adhere it to the card base.  I also used one of the four Edgers Confetti Cuts dies on the white panel.  Three of the flowers are popped up using foam tape.

My second card features the Kindness Cards stamp set and coordinating dies.

Papers are from the Forever My Love 6x6 paper pad and are  perfect for a masculine recipient.  Previously released items used are Edge Essentials, Tag Me and Tall Tag Trio Confetti Cuts. I used Navy Blue ink with the RC Pointed Out stencil on the white panel.

Prepare for some incredible inspiration as you visit all the participants in the blog hop.  Here is the lineup:
Susan Liles
Jennifer McGuire
From here, you need to hop on over to visit the talented Jeanne Jachna !

I'll end my post with the JAN 8 quote from 365 Days of Wonder:
