Tic Tac Toe Challenge

These baby cards are a CASE from previous cards I created using these dies. This time I'm entering them into the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #300 where I focused on the far left column of letters/numbers, sentiment and diecuts.

I started with the eyelet lace frame die and cut once with white then once with the patterned paper for each card.  The sentiment was layered with white over a color paper.

INK: Bright Butterfly, Summer Sunrise, New Leaf, Ocean Tides, Amethyst Allure (Papertrey Ink).
PAPER: Stampers Select White (PTI); Blue, Pink, Lavender, Yellow, Green from my scrap bin.
DIES: Sweet Baby Bib, Larger Than Life: Baby, Border Bling: Scalloped Frame (PTI).

Freshly Made Sketches

Michele Ferguson has a great new layout for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. It was hard to keep it clean and simple but I started with a leftover stenciled background from another project.I used the smallest stitched pocket die and the frame from the Picture This stamp set for the two tilted "squares". The flower was clear embossed then colored with Copics (it was fussy cut from the summer tag stamp set).

STAMPS:  Picture This, Spring Collage Tag, Summer Collage Tag, Texture Tiles 3, Texture Tiles 1 (Creative Worship Stamps).
INK: Cracked Pistachio, Tattered Rose, Saltwater Taffy distress; Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Stampers Select White, True Black (Papertrey Ink); X-Press It Blending Card.
DIES: Picture This, Tag & More, Foliage Silhouettes, Polaroid, Film Strip; Stitched Pockets (Creative Worship Stamps); Blueprints 27 (My Favorite Things).
OTHER: Lovely Lace stencil, Copics.

Summer's Last Hurrah

I had a lot of fun creating this collage card for the theme of "Summer's Last Hurrah" challenge at Creative Worship Stamps! I'm also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge with the theme of using layers. I stenciled the background then color blended and collage stamped the largest of the Stitched Pocket dies. I tucked in some greenery and a couple of film strip dies. I don't know what took me so long to use these florals from the Patient Echinacea stamp set. I clear embossed them over a black pigment ink then colored with Copics.

STAMPS: Patient Echinacea, Autumn Collage Tag, Foliage Silhouettes, Entomology Elements, Vintage Snippets (Creative Worship Stamps).
INK: Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo distress inks; Limeade Ice, New Leaf, Harvest Gold, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise (Papertrey Ink); Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Stampers Select White, True Black (PTI).
DIES: Patient Echinacea, Foliage Silhouettes, Entomology Elements, Film Strips, Stitched Pockets (CWS); Sentiment Suite Basics (The Greetery).

Sunflower Birthday

I am playing along with Freshly Made Sketches and with Just Us Girls challenges where it's mood board week. I'm needing a birthday card soon, so thought I could make it work with the sunflower dies from Papertrey Ink. The "stripe" was stenciled using Honey Nut and Dark Chocolate inks.

I die cut the florals from Bristol Smooth Paper then color blended using brushes and splattered with gold paint after everything dried. The gold foiled script was in my leftover pile.

STAMPS
: Birthday Tag Kit, It's A Sign: Birthday Sentiments (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Limeade Ice, New Leaf, Simply Chartreuse, Honey Nut, Cocoa Bean, Dark Chocolate (PTI).

Peachy Roses

I'm entering the AAA Birthday card challenge to use flowers and also am playing along with the (PIN)spirational challenge to use peach/coral/aqua/jade colors plus a hint of gold glitter.  I used distress inks to smoosh onto the background then splattered with gold paint.

Florals were color blended with brushes and distress inks. The Aqua Mist satin ribbon is sadly coming to an end of my supply. That color will no longer be carried by Papertrey Ink.

STAMPS: Blooming Beauties (Papertrey Ink).

INK: Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral, Cracked Pistachio, Pine Needles distress; Versafine Clair Nocturne.

PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Stampers Select White (PTI).

OTHER: Satin ribbon, Moonshine sequins (PTI); Gold paint Starry Colors (Gansai Tambi).

Off to run some errands. Have a blessed day!  ~Wanda

Flowers In Bloom

I am entering this card into the Just Add Ink challenge (choose 2 or more - I chose gingham, flowers, sequins) and Try a Sketch on Tuesday challenge. The hexagons in the sketch inspired me to use a Sizzix die set of 4 by Tim Holtz. I stamped the florals with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card then colored with Copics. The sentiment was layered twice to give is some dimension.

STAMPS
: Flowers in Bloom, Script Sentiments (Creative Worship Stamps).
INK: Memento Tuxedo Black.
PAPER: Glossy 6x6 pad (? source due to loss of cover sheet); X-Press It Blending Card.

Good Friday everyone! It's a cloudy day in VA, so I'm getting crafty while the laundry room is getting a work out. Two of the torn panels were leftover from an earlier project.

Summertime Blues

I'm playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which has the Summertime Blues as a theme and Pinkfresh Studio is their featured sponsor. I am trying to "spread the love" more and use some older stamps in my stash. These stamps, dies, stencils are from Pinkfresh Studio and the background frame is a die set from Papertrey Ink.

I clear embossed the butterfly after stamping with a black pigment ink. It makes it so much easier to stay in the lines when coloring with an aquapainter brush.

STAMPS: Joyful Day, Forever In Our Hearts (Pinkfresh Studio).
INK: Versafine Clair Nocturne; Shabby Shutters, Salvaged Patina, Peeled Paint, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Prize Ribbon, Peacock Feathers distress inks (Ranger).
PAPER: Hammermill White; Watercolor paper (Ranger); Green plaid glitter paper (? source).
DIES: Joyful Day, Forever In Our Hearts (Pinkfresh Studio); Pierced Feature Frames (Papertrey Ink).
OTHER: Joyful Day stencil collection; Clear embossing powder.

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by! ~Wanda

Bible Journaling

It's been awhile since I've done any Bible journaling. I did two quick pages this morning featuring verses from John 14 and Isaiah 41.

The first page was stenciled using the Bold Bloom and Diamond Mesh stencils from Creative Worship Stamps. The second page used a paper doily and some fussy cut leaves and sunflower from the Live by Faith papers by Creative Worship Stamps.

Have a blessed day everyone!  ~Wanda
