Mojo Monday Time

Julee has another great sketch for the Mojo Monday Challenge! Since I already had my Webster's Pages DP out, I went with another sea themed card using another of JustRite's new By the Sea images. This was my first attempt at making a sailor's knot...Barbara Anders has a very helpful tutorial on her blog. The link is also in my sidebar of Helpful Tips. I colored the image with Copics and sponged the edge of the Nestie shape. It's another rainy day in VA...good for stamping! :-) Thanks for stopping by and commenting...I really do appreciate it!

You are quick! Great work on that knot and the sketch. You're going to have to come out our way for a visit to get out of the rain - says me who lives out on the West Coast and is usually getting rain but right now are having fabulous weather. Hang in there - at least everything stays green and you get to stamp because outdoor activities aren't calling :D

Beautiful card Wanda! I took my parents to the USS Alabama in Mobile while they were here visiting. On the wall on the second deck was a big frame with all the different knots (probably twenty five of them!) and their names. It was amazing! Of course I took a picture and thought....wow, I could do these on my cards!

Well, I have to say that you have inspired me now... I am going to go to this blog and learn how to do this GREAT knot... I love all kinds of knots and have not done this one... You know what you give out... does come back.. and most of the time two fold... I asked for you learn something new... which you took and ran with it... and now it has come back to me!!!! See how wonderful the world is!!!! I love it...

This card is so wonderful... I love the colors you have used... I have that stamp and would never have colored it like this... I LOVE IT LIKE THIS... just so very different and pretty... Now you have expanded my day... thanks Wanda!!!!

Oh by the way.. the drawer stayed pretty good for a day... but last night I was on the phone with a friend, and the whole drawer knocked off my studio table... and I just threw it all back in there... I was also working on a book layout, so I didn't have time to put it all away nicely... but will today??? Maybe...

Have a fun day... and THANK YOU for all the lovely comments...
