Color Throwdown #654

Hello friends! It's Wednesday and that means a new Color Throwdown challenge is happening! Amy Rohl is our hostess this week and has a great combo of neutrals for us. I decided they would work well for a sympathy card so that's how I rolled.

I stamped the leaves with both Classic Kraft and Weathervane dye inks then lightly spritzed water  before applying to the paper. That helped the ink "move" a bit to blend the colors together.

The patterned paper was from a fall 6x6 pad called Scrapbook Paper by Horizon Group.
STAMPS: Dear Friend (Papertrey Ink/Ink to Paper).

INK: Classic Kraft, Cocoa Bean, Weathervane, Smokey Shadow, True Black (Papertrey Ink).

PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; White; Scrapbook Paper 6x6 pad by Horizon Group.

DIES: Feathered Friends 2 (Papertrey Ink/Ink to Paper); Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).

For more inspiration, check out the Color Throwdown Challenge blog to see what the rest of the design team created. Hope to see you joining us in the gallery!                               ~Wanda

This is a beautiful card & works very well for a Sympathy card. Love how you did the leaves and also the gorgeous die cut bird.
