Day 1 March Reveal at Ink to Paper

Another month has rolled on by and it's time again for the design team to reveal new products that will be available to buy on the 20th. Yep...the die company is still running behind with production due to Covid which explains the release date of the 20th instead of our usual 15th. But it's all good. You are going to love this month's release so let's get right to it! Today, we are introducing you to Flying By stamp set and dies + Love to Layer: Torn Edges dies + Prominent Petals stamp set and dies + Border Bling: Dainty Deliveries Frame die.

I've been scrapbooking and cardmaking for more than 20 years and one of the earliest "techniques" I loved was to tear the edges of my card panels. The torn edges die in this release reminds me of the torn look but is so much easier!

This butterfly stamp has a stained glass look and has so many possibilities for coloring! I stamped the variety of step images on this card but am wanting to try my hand at water coloring soon. The background was color blended with Picked Raspberry and Wild Honey distress oxide inks. After stamping with black ink, I then used Versamark ink and embossed with clear embossing powder to add some sheen.

STAMPS: Flying By
INK: Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey distress oxide ink; Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface, Lemon Tart, White, Vellum
DIES: Flying By, Love to Layer: Torn Edges, Border Bling: Tin Stitch

Ahhh...another beautiful floral set! You can never have too many flowers IMO.

There are 3 steps to stamp the flowers and I used my fave pink shades of Sweet Blush, Pale Peony and Berry Sorbet! The frame is very delicate and works best if used with a 60 lb paper weight rather than 120 lb. It also looks very pretty if you just emboss it and omit punching out the spaces.

STAMPS: Prominent Petals
INK: Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet, Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Simply Chartreuse, Ocean Tides, Ripe Avocado, Scarlet Jewel
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Classic Kraft, Sweet Blush
DIES: Prominent Petals, Border Bling: Dainty Deliveries Frame

These all look so special Wanda! Torn edges definitely look as if they're making a comeback don't they! Love the sideways butterfly and the floral set is just gorgeous! Vicky x
