Day 2 March Reveal at Ink to Paper

Welcome to day two of March reveals at Ink to Paper! Today we are introducing you to Congratulations Graduate stamps + Go-To Gift Card Holder: Congratulations Graduate dies + Storybook Teachers stamp set and dies + To Die For Sentiments: Grow die.

Isn't this such a cute way to gift a graduate with a gift card?! I cut two of the gown panels and highlighted the folds by lightly marking the embossed lines with a white Prismacolor pencil and ruler.

Our local schools have burgundy as their school color, so it was a given that I would use Scarlet Jewel card stock. I adhered the collar then attached the diploma with foam tape at each of the two ends. I wanted the tag to dangle from the center with gold cording. I die cut two of the buttons for the cap and positioned the tassel.

I placed some adhesive tape about an inch from the lower edge of the gown and also at the bottom of each sleeve to hold the front and back gown panels together.

STAMPS: Congratulations Graduate
INK: Scarlet Jewel, Bright Buttercup, True Black
PAPER: Scarlett Jewel, White, Bright Buttercup
DIES: Go To Gift Card Holder: Congratulations Graduate

There is a new set of Storybook stamps and dies and this time it's oriented toward teachers. It will make it easier if you also have the dies from Storybook Christmas unless you choose to fussy cut the books. I went with some patterned papers from Recollections for the chalkboard strip. The notebook edge punch and the mini library clip were details I like to incorporate with school themes.

One of my fave elements is the border tape measure stamp!

STAMPS: Storybook: Teacher, Storybook: Christmas
INK: Pure Poppy, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, True Black, Gentle Moss, Simply Chartreuse, New Leaf
PAPER: Pure Poppy, White; Patterned paper by Recollections
DIES: Storybook Christmas

I kept this card very simple and only matted the Yupo alcohol ink panel with Luxe Gold card stock them popped it with a foam panel on the card base.
The sentiment was die cut twice then adhered together to give it more substance. A trio of gold sequins are the only embellishment.
