Color Throwdown #711

Welcome crafty friends! Today we have a new Color Throwdown challenge with Amy Rysavy hosting. She has chosen turquoise, yellow, brown and green from the inspiration photo. I went with Papertrey Ink's Into the Blooms: Sunflowers die set and paired it with Vase Collection 1 and a sentiment from the Wild Fields stamp set.

I stenciled the largest oval die with the dotted hexagon stencil and Dark Chocolate ink. The diagonal strips were leftovers from Hawaiian Shores paper.

STAMPS: Vase Collection 1, Wild Fields (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Honey Nut, Dark Chocolate dye inks by PTI; Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey distress inks by Ranger.
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Vellum; Hawaiian Shores, White, Dark Chocolate (PTI).
DIES: Love to Layer: Ovals, Into the Blooms: Sunflowers, Vase Collection (PTI); Simple Strips (Pretty Pink Posh); Blueprints 27 (My Favorite Things).
OTHER: Queen's Gold embossing powder; Button; Jute twine

That's all for now...happy stamping and hope to see you in the gallery!  ~Wanda
