Freshly Made Sketches

It's been a dreary day in VA and between some housekeeping details, I'm now posting my second card for the day! I'm playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. The white splattered panel was an extra from another project, so I grabbed it for starters. I dug out this old Sizzix die - Christmas Tree #2 - and cut it from a watercolored panel of Pelikan paints (I used two different greens).

I splattered blue gold paint (Gansai Tambi Starry Colors) over the tree and splattered opaque Copic white pigment over the kraft panel. The tiny sentiment from WPlus9's Woodland Wreaths set was gold embossed then die cut using Sentiment Suite Basics die from The Greetery. The stag - one of the Stag Trio die set by WPlus9 - doesn't show up very well. It's cut from Mirror Gold cardstock by Altenew and is VERY shiny IRL!

So... that's it for today!  So glad you stopped by!      ~Wanda

What an amazing card! Kraft, gold, splatters and a majestic stag are among my favorite ingredients for Christmas cards . Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly made Sketches.

The splatters are such a fun detail on this card - love the snowy white - and the golden splatters on the tree. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
