Delicate Flowers

My matching dies to the Delicate Flowers stamp set (Simon Says Stamp) finally arrived yesterday and I jumped at the chance to play with them this morning! I colored with Copics after white embossing the images on X-Press It Blending Card paper. I'm entering this card into the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and also to the Anything Goes theme for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

I've neglected my embossing folders for a long time, and am trying
to get into the habit of adding more texture to my cards by using them!  This one is called Bricked by Sizzix and was lightly sponged with Silver Lining ink (WPlus9). I thought this trellis look patterned paper from MFT's Black and White Basics 6x6 pad would pair up nicely with the brick background.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting...

So pretty! I love your coloring. Thanks for stopping by my blog and giving me advise on the ink pads, I will definitely try the distress pads and the W9 ones as well.

Have a great week!

I love the soft colors on the flower - it's so dramatic against the brick and the black patterns! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

This is stunning! The embossed background adds so much dimension to your gorgeous card without detracting from that fabulous floral image.
