Color Throwdown #697

Hello crafty friends! It's time for another Color Throwdown challenge and we have Lori hosting with the colors of orange, pink and aqua. Great summertime palette to play with!

I used a neutral Fine Linen ink to stamp the Seed Packet Background stamp. I then die cut an Aqua Mist border from the Macrame Borders & Tassels die set. The tool dies were cut from Vintage Cream paper and the handles were cut from Classic Kraft and sponged with Cocoa Bean ink.

STAMPS: In Spades, Seed Packet Background (The Greetery).
PAPER: Vintage Cream. Aqua Mist, Classic Kraft (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Fine Linen, Hibiscus Burst, Orange Zest, Aqua Mist, Tropical Teal (dye inks by PTI).
DIES: In Spades, Macrame Borders & Tassels, Crimped Circles, Garden Gear: Tools, Postal Frames (The Greetery).
OTHER: Variety of seam binding, satin & tulle ribbons, burlap ribbon to create a "junk bow".

I had a leftover "junk bow" that fit these colors from a craft class I taught at a ladies' luncheon at our church a couple of weeks ago. It was a fun project that everyone enjoyed...including the women who stated they "weren't crafty". We also had a "card bar" where they could all choose supplies from a variety of colors and elements to create two cards. This required a good bit of prep time for me, but it was totally worth it.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Hope to see you in the throwdown gallery!  ~Wanda
