Word Art Wednesday Echinacea

Welcome to another Word Art Wednesday challenge! (NOTE: Thanks to those who let me know my link wasn't correct. It's now fixed!) I went with stamps/stencils/dies from Creative Worship Stamps to create this multimedia card. I printed the verse at 45% of the size.

I started by using a sea sponge and sponged the background with Worn Lipstick, Saltwater Taffy, Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint distress inks. I used stamps from Vintage Snippets and Texture Tiles 3 sets. The flower was colored with an aqua painter using above distress inks. I used Liquitex light modeling paste with a diamond mesh stencil (hard to see in the photos).

STAMPS: Vintage Snippets, Texture Tiles 3, Patient Echinaceas (Creative Worship Stamps).
INK: (see above distress ink colors); Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Mixed Media (Strathmore); Stampers Select white, Lovely Lady (Papertrey Ink).
DIES: Patient Echinaceas (Creative Worship Stamps); Keep It Simple Frames (Papertrey Ink).
OTHER: Diamond Mesh stencil (Creative Worship Stamps).

Come play along for a chance to win a gift card to our sponsor's store. Happy stamping!  ~Wanda

Wanda, your card is lovely! The distressed background and flower goes so very well together. I love the colors and all of the elements that you chose for this. The scripture on there is wonderful too. I really like the die that you cut that out with. Wonderful card all around! 😊

Your card is just beautiful...I love how you have done the background for the delicate flower image. One thing I noticed, I had no trouble finding you on my own, but when I clicked on this card at WORD Art Wednesday it took me another designers site.

Such a lovely card, I especially like the background that showcases your simple flower image. When I clicked on your card at the WORD Art Wednesday site, it took me to another designer's blog.
It wasn't hard to find you on my own however.
