You're the Zest!

It's been awhile since I used this fun lemon stamp/stencil/die set from Taylored Expressions. It was perfect for the sketch by Linda at Freshly Made Sketches and I used the first vertical column (stripes, birthday, twine) for the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge at The Paper Players .
Technically, it doesn't mention birthday on the front, but the inside has handwritten thoughts that celebrate the birthday girl!

STAMPS: Squeeze the Day (Taylored Expressions).
INK: Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Limeade Ice, New Leaf, Honey Nut (Papertrey Ink); Versafine Claire Nocturne pigment ink.
PAPER: Stampers Select White (Papertrey Ink); Black & White Stripes 6x6 pad (My Favorite Things).
DIES: Squeeze the Day (Taylored Expressions); Stitched Banner Flags & Stitched Circle STAX Die-Namics (MFT).
OTHER: Squeeze the Day layering stencils by Taylored Expressions.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy 4th of July to all you friends in the United States!   ~Wanda

Aqua & White

There's a new "to me" challenge that I just couldn't resist and that's The Color Hues Challenge. Nancy is hosting with an aqua and white theme.

I die cut two large and two small Marianna Vine Background pieces using heavy weight vellum and white paper. I splattered the white leaves with Salvaged Patina distress ink.

I stenciled the background with Salvaged Patina and Rocky Slope.

STAMPS: Sentiment Suite: Thank You (The Greetery).
INK: Rocky Slope, Metropolis (Pinkfresh Studio); Salvaged Patina distress (Ranger).
PAPER: Stampers Select White (Papertrey Ink).
DIES: Sentiment Suite Basics (The Greetery); Large and Small Marianna Vine Background (Poppystamps); Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things); Bows Galore (Papertrey Ink).
OTHER: Brick Wall stencil (Papertrey Ink).

Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting!  ~Wanda

Color Throwdown #800

Good Wednesday everyone! It's time for a new Color Throwdown challenge and yours truly is hosting with red, blue and kraft for the color palette. I went with an old favorite from Reverse Confetti for this card for a cool friend! It also gave me a chance to try out the newly released Slanted Shortcuts dies from Concord & 9th.

I popped up the popsicles with foam tape to add more dimension. This was a good way to use some of my MANY patterned paper pads!

STAMPS: Let's Chill (Reverse Confetti).
INK: Pure Poppy, Blueberry Sky, Enchanted Evening, Classic Kraft (Papertrey Ink).
PAPER: Stars and Stripes 6x6 pad (My Favorite Things); Stampers Select White, Classic Kraft (Papertrey Ink).
DIES: Slanted Shortcuts (Concord & 9th); Let's Chill (Reverse Confetti); Banner STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).
OTHER: Button, Red cording.

We'd love to have you play along with the new challenge! Happy stamping!  ~Wanda
