Good Monday friends! I sadly needed a sympathy card for the family of a dear 91 year old man who passed away Saturday. I went with a favorite layering stencil called Wild Blooms from Papertrey Ink. I'm entering this into The Flower Challenge #91 where we are to color our flowers using any kind of medium (I used stencils with dye inks).
The sentiment was white embossed on black. The Cross Stitched cover plate from PTI is a new favorite just released last month.
STAMPS: Tuck It Sentiments (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Harvest Gold, Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet, Limeade Ice, New Leaf, Ripe Avocado die inks by PTI; Versamark.
PAPER: Stampers Select White, Berry Sorbet, True Black (PTI).
DIES: Cover Plate: Cross-Stitched (PTI); A2 Nested Pendant Etched (Photoplay Paper); Blueprints 27 (My Favorite Things).
OTHER: Thread; Wild Blooms stencil collection (Papertrey Ink); White embossing powder (Altenew).
Thanks for stopping by! Always love reading your comments! ~Wanda

Hi Wanda! It's wonderful to find this beauty in our gallery! The flowers are so pretty and fresh in the colors you chose. I love the cover plate design too. We're so glad that you joined us this month at The Flower Challenge!
So sorry there was a need but your lovely card will lift the family's spirit I'm sure, Wanda. I love the simplicity of that stencil and it looks great on the tag with the wonderful coverplate behind. Thanks for sharing your card with us at The Flower Challenge.
