Color Throwdown #593

Yes, it's hump day and that means a new Color Throwdown Challenge! Broni has chosen pink, yellow and blue for the colors - inspired by this lovely group of throw pillows! I wanted to watercolor these Botanicut: Sunflower die cut layers and though I tried to water them down, the colors were still more vivid than the photo version.

I used the Painterly Stripes background stamp and the Written in Ribbons sentiment stamps and stamped them in two shades of blue: Bo Peep and Falling for Blue dye inks by WPlus9. I used two light shades of gray card stock for the leaves as a neutral color.

STAMPS: Written in Ribbons, Painterly Stripes Background (The Greetery).
PAPER: White (PTI); Water color paper by Ranger.
DIES: BotaniCuts: Sunflower, Nordic Frames, Written in Ribbons (The Greetery); Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics by My Favorite Things.

Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. We'd love to have you play along with us and if you'd like more inspiration, please stop by the Color Throwdown blog and check out the rest of the design team's creations!                    ~Wanda
