The Card Concept Challenge

I loved the simplistic inspiration photo for the current Card Concept Challenge and thought it would work for a sympathy card I needed. These are the hardest cards to make...especially when it hits home for a dear friend who happens to also be in the stamping community.  Teresa Kline unexpectedly lost her father this past Monday.  He was a close friend to my husband and he will really be missed.  Please keep her and her family in your prayers as they continue to face the visitation night tomorrow and the funeral service Saturday morning.

The blinds in the photo inspired me to use this MFT cover plate die.  The pop of color in the bold bloom led me to white emboss on X-Press It Blending Card then color these peonies in vivid orange tones using Copics.

Here's my enabler's list...
STAMPS: Peony Scrolls (Altenew), Petals 'n Posies (Reverse Confetti) - sentiment.
PAPER: Vintage Cream (PTI), Black Licorice (MFT).
INK: Versafine Onyx Black; Versamark.
DIES: Striped Sentiment Strip Cover Plate Die-Namics by MFT; Peony Scrolls by Altenew.
