Be Bold Be Bright

My first card of the new year is for Reverse Confetti's Sketch For You To Try!  This new paper stack - Be Bold Be Bright - by the Paper Studio was calling my name with the gold embossed pineapples and coordinating stripes!  Before I get into full Valentine card making mode, I took a different route and went with a welcome theme...thinking it might be a good card for a new RN that was recently hired.

I tore a strip of vellum for the horizontal border and gold embossed an arrow stamp.  I die cut two flags from gold CS and taped them to the back of the die cut pineapple.

Reverse Confetti stamps used: Pineapples A Plenty, Arrows 'n Elements (this one is retired but still one of my faves for the fun little elements).

Thanks for stopping by and hope your new year is starting off well!  I'm sadly seeing my work break come to an end tomorrow.  Three glorious weeks off is making my retirement goal (? 1-2 years) even more enticing!
