CASING Vicki

My good paper doll friend, Vicki Dutcher, is the featured stamper this week on SCS and so deserving of this honor! She has a gallery FULL of beautiful creations and I didn't know where to begin to CASE a card! She often uses butterflies on her cards and so I went with this one.
I kept the blues and yellows for the color scheme, but changed to a long style card, flipped the scallop border to the bottom & used a butterfly sticker instead of a stamped image. The slit punch border is a new technique that I stumbled across in a thread on SCS today. Here is a direct link to the video tutorial. I used more of the lace that I found at Walmart this week - made by Offray and only $3.97 for 9 feet of lace.
STAMPS: Plain Jane Amazing Grace (Verve)
PAPER: Neenah Solar White, My Mind's Eye Photo Mat Blue (Michael's), Baja Breeze
INK: Versafine Onyx Black
ACCESSORIES: MS butterfly sticker, Lace, Slit punch (SU), Kaiser gold pearls
