The Paper Players

Hello friends! I wanted to play along with The Paper Players where it's a sketch challenge this week. Jan has a great layout for us and it worked well to use the Botanicuts: Hollyhocks die set from The Greetery. I cut all of the florals from Bristol Smooth paper then blended dye inks using small brushes.

STAMPS: Sentiment Suite: Birthday (The Greetery); Texture Tiles 1 (Creative Worship Stamps).
INK: Versafine Clair Nocturne; Sunkist, Mimosa, Mango Sorbet, Sunshine, Key Lime, Olive (Pinkfresh Studio).
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Stamper's Select White; Groovy Guava (retired Stampin' Up); Textiles & Texture Vintage patterned paper (Honey Bee).
DIES: Botanicuts: Hollyhock, Sentiment Suite Basics (The Greetery); Stitched Banner Flags STAX, Traditional Tags STAX, Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics (My Favorite Things).
OTHER: Jute twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting!  ~Wanda

Really beautiful, Wanda! The ink blending to colour the flowers and leaves gives such lovely variation of colour and a pleasing softness to the colours. The tag is a great way to use the sketch and I like the way the stems break the frame. Thanks for playing along with my sketch this week at The Paper Players.

I LOVE this! So nice seeing this springy creation on a still-chilly winter's day! That textured stamp as well as the embossed background really add a lot to your sweet creation! Thanks for sharing this with us at the Paper Players this week!
