Eucalyptus

I pulled out a seldom used PTI stamp set to create a monochromatic card with a pop of green. This is for the Seize the Birthday challenge which has a topping to use your favorite color (mine was green!). It was also inspired by the current Cupcake Inspiration challenge to use green and white.

I wanted to add an element of texture to the background so I die cut the Delicately Woven die from PTI. This is a tricky one as it needs to have a shim added to the sandwich plus I had to turn it several times and run it through my Big Shot about 6 times before it cleanly cut all the intricate parts!

STAMPS
: Sentiment Suite: Birthday (The Greetery); Eucalyptus Elegance (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Harvest Gold (PTI); Versamark; Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint distress inks (Ranger).
PAPER: Vintage Cream (PTI).
DIES: Delicately Woven, Eucalyptus Elegance, Into the Blooms: Dahlia (PTI); Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things); Sentiment Suite Basics (The Greetery).
OTHER: Queen's Gold embossing powder (Ranger).

That's a wrap for now. Thanks for stopping by!  ~Wanda

Beautiful birthday card Wanda. Love the elements in the background and how you used the Eucalyptus with the pretty Dahlia. Thanks for sharing with us at Seize the Birthday with your favorite color.
