Floral Trio

It's another hot day in VA and I'm staying cool with stamping a card for two challenges. It's mood board week on the Just Us Girls challenge blog and I was definitely inspired by the shades of blue in the ocean and also the red poppies.   The layout was done using the sketch on the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog.  

 

The florals were stamped using black pigment ink then clear embossed and watercolored by smooshing distress inks onto my glass mat, spritzing with water and adding to the images with a brush.

STAMPS: Spring Flowers (Simon Says Stamp).

INK: Worn Lipstick, Barn Door, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint distress inks; Versafine Clair Nocturne.

DIES: Spring Flowers (Simon Says Stamp); Love to Layer: Arches, Border Bling: Tin Stitch (Papertrey Ink); Stitched Rectangles STAX Doe-Namics (My Favorite Things).

OTHER: Clear embossing powder; Alcohol inks.
