The Paper Players

This week Stef has a color challenge over on The Paper Players blog: purple, yellow, aqua and green. I started with a watercolor look in the background with this patterned paper. I then clear embossed the wreath after stamping with a black pigment ink. The florals were die cut from white Bristol paper then color blended with dye inks.

After embossing the wreath, I water colored it using Pentrista paints (an aqua and a light green). The wreath was popped up with foam tape.

STAMPS: Birthday Your Way (Papertrey Ink); Weekend Doodles (Altenew).
INK: Lilac Grace, Almost Amethyst, Lemon Tart, Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Limeade Ice, New Leaf (PTI); Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Rainbow Inks 6x6 pad (Recollections); Bristol Smooth Surface; Stamper's Select White (PTI).
DIES: Birthday Your Way, Into the Blooms: Wreath (PTI); Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things); Weekend Doodles (Altenew).
OTHER: Clear embossing powder; Pentrista water color paints.

The sun is out this morning and that's a welcome sight! Off to the grocery store for a few items. Have a great day everyone!  ~Wanda

Wanda, you had me at "wreath" and it is a beauty. Really, your entire card is just lovely, with the watercolor paper and the pretty flowers. Thank you so much for playing along this week for my color challenge at the Paper Players!

What an absolute beauty! The softness of the watercoloured elements is gorgeous. The embossing adds crispness of line where it's needed and the swirly background is just right. Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players.
