WAW Zephaniah 3:17

Hello friends! We have a new Word Art Wednesday challenge with the verse from Zephaniah 3:17 for our inspiration. I printed it at 65% then die cut using the fancy Extravagant Floral Frames die by Papertrey Ink. The beautiful patterned paper is from a favorite 6x6" pad called Ink Drops - Candy and is sold by Stamp Simply who is our generous sponsor this month. If you play along with us, you have a chance to win a $25 gift card from Stamp Simply!

I embellished with some color blended florals from PTI's Into the Blooms: Wreath set and rounded the corners.

Hope to see you in the gallery!  ~Wanda

Buckeye Leaf

There's a great new challenge on the Inspired By challenge blog with a theme of panels. My leftover pile came to the rescue with the strips over acetate panel and the water colored background already made ages ago! I placed foam tape behind the strips to make them seem they are floating. The leaf was die cut and also popped up with foam tape.  Easy peasy!

STAMPS: Sentiment Suite: Thinking of You (The Greetery).
DIES: Jumbo Curiosity: Buckeye Leaf (The Greetery).

Thanks so much for stopping by! ~Wanda

Freshly Made Sketches

Playing along with the new Freshly Made Sketches Challenge. I am adding another pair of the same design to my Christmas stash which is currently at #30. I love getting them done earlier this year! I tweaked the sketch a bit by adding the horizontal striped border.
Initially, I didn't use a textured background, but changed my mind and used this awesome 3D embossing folder by Altenew. Gotta love some added texture!

STAMPS: Merry Greetings Builder Stamps (Kristina Werner for Concord & 9th.
INK: Versamark.
PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Pure Poppy; Metallic gold; Red glitter paper; two shades of green from my scrap pile.
DIES: Winter Berries Stem Layering (Kristina Werner for Concord & 9th).
OTHER: Corner Rounder; Chocolate Flowers 3D embossing folder (Altenew); White embossing powder.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge

I love playing along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge and this week, I went with the diagonal row of stencil, free and embossing. This berry background stencil collection by Kristina Werner for Concord & 9th was unused, so it was time to remedy that! I decided to go with pink berries instead of red so it's a more non-traditional Christmas color palette.

I layered up the gift bow dies and then matched the silver "ribbon" by silver embossing the "merry" part of the sentiment. Kristina's Merry Christmas Builder stamps and dies are highly recommended because you have endless options for a large variety of sentiments!

STAMPS: Merry Christmas Builder (Kristina Werner for Concord & 9th).
INK: Lemon Tart, Limeade Ice, New Leaf, Raspberry Fizz (Papertrey Ink); Versamark.
PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Stamper's Select White, Raspberry Fizz, New Leaf (PTI); Metallic Silver (My Favorite Things).
DIES: Merry Christmas builder, Gift Bows (Kristina Werner for Concord & 9th).
OTHER: Berries & Leaves stencils (Kristina Werner for Concord & 9th).

It's turned much colder here in VA...time to layer up and finally turn the heat on. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!  ~Wanda

Freshly Made Sketches

My entry for the new Freshly Made Sketches challenge with a fun layout designed by Judy. The patterned paper does most of the "talking" with only a layered snowflake and a simple sentiment popped up with foam tape.

PAPER: Blue Christmas 6x6 pad (Recollections); Stamper's Select White (PTI); Shimmer White (? source).
INK: Blueberry Sky (PTI).

That's it for now...thanks for dropping by!  ~Wanda

Bright & Colorful

Another Christmas pair of cards to add to my stash! I used a fun stamp and die set by Papertrey Ink and paired it with an older Mix & Mat die set. I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge to create a bright and colorful card.

Word Art Wednesday

It's time for a new Word Art Wednesday challenge with a verse from I Timothy 6:6. Our generous sponsor is Concord & 9th and they are giving away a $30 gift card to some lucky participant!
I stenciled the "watercolor" corners using Tumbled Glass distress ink. The sentiment was printed on a Word document then reduced by 45%. The sunflowers were die cut from Bristol Smooth Surface paper then color blended with distress inks: Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint, Brushed Corduroy, Gathered Twigs.
DIES: Into the Blooms: Sunflowers (Papertrey Ink); Master Layouts 08 (Gina K Designs).
OTHER: Stencil by Papertrey Ink; Gems by Pinkfresh Studio.

We would love to have you join us in the challenge! Happy stamping!  ~Wanda

Being a breast cancer survivor for 7 years, I am always jumping at a chance to spread the word for ladies to get their mammograms yearly! To recognize breast cancer awareness month, the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge has a "think pink" challenge for us. To add to my Christmas stash, I made a couple of cards using products that Kristina Werner designed last year for Concord & 9th. I LOVE the berries stencils and dies collection and went with some non-traditional colors for Christmas.

Red, orange and green are the colors for the new Color Throwdown challenge. This gives a country cottage feeling so I wanted to add some red gingham paper for part of the background.

INK: Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Pure Poppy, Scarlet Jewel (Papertrey Ink); Lemon Whip, Warm Buff, Key Lime, Olive, Mint, Sage, Eucalyptus (Pinkfresh Studio).

Tic Tac Toe

It's a rainy day in VA which means a perfect day for some crafting! I am trying to get Christmas cards completed at an earlier rate this year so, I made two of this layout for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge where I used the row of die cut, twine and embossing.  The snowflakes were embossed and I loved stamping and die cutting these whimsical trees!

STAMPS: Peaceful Forest (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Fine Linen, Pure Poppy (PTI); Versamark.
PAPER: Classic Kraft, Stamper's Select White (PTI); Silvery White glitter paper.
DIES: Peaceful Forest, Bring Hime the Holidays, Larger Than Life: Peace (PTI).
OTHER: White embossing powder; Jute twine.
That's it for today...have a good one!  ~Wanda
