Hi everyone! We're into February already (c'mon spring!) and it's the month for love! Lori is our hostess and she's chosen red, pink, dark gray and light blue for the Color Throwdown Challenge this week! Here's my take on it...
Next to Christmas, Valentine's Day is my fave holiday when it comes to stamping! I never tire of using hearts on my projects and this time I'm using a brand new Stacked Hearts die by Simon Says Stamp...LOVE it! I smooshed Tumbled Glass, Festive Berries, Spun Sugar mixed with Picked Raspberry distress inks on some acrylic sheets, spritzed with water then dabbed my paper into the inks until I was satisfied with the mix. The sentiment (Wet Paint) is by Papertrey Ink and was die cut three times from Basic Gray CS by SU and stamped with Silver Lining ink by WPlus9. The stitched border is an MFT Die-Namics die. For you Downton Abby fans, my card rather resembles the one dramatic scene in the dining room - lol! Don't want to say anything else in case someone hasn't watched the last episode. Fair warning though...brace yourself for a startling turn of events! But I digress.
We're super thrilled to have Kay Miller as our guest designer this month! She has been a stamping idol of mine for quite some time and has inspired me time and time again with her talents!
Congratulations to Samantha Johnson of Samantha's Cards - our guest star stamper this week!
