SFYTT July
I made the mistake of checking some of my fave blogs instead of going to bed...saw that the Sketch For You To Try challenge was posted for July and the talented Debbie Carriere is this month's guest designer...LOVE her work! I also love Jen's sketches and this was such a fun one to play with! MFT is the sponsor this month and they're one of my fave companies...great stamps and great dies! Sooo...here's my interpretation of the sketch. MFT's rolled roses dies have got to be my all time fave...but couldn't do it without the Imaginisce petal roller tool - it's a must have! I love this new paper by Prima and dug into my archives for some Taken with Teal to use for the roses.
Here's what else I used:
STAMPS: Spring by MFT.
PAPER: Madeline DP by Prima Marketing, Taken with Teal, Vintage Cream, Old Olive, Simply Chartreuse.
INK: Chocolate Chip, Kiwi kiss (to sponge leaves).
ACCESSORIES: Corner scallop punch, Daisy trim, Chocolate pearls, Foliage die by Spellbinders, Fern punch by MS, Sewing machine/brown thread.

Love those roses. Got the die but Mike's doesn't sell quilling stuff any more so have to go on line to get something. Thanks for the tip re: Imaginesce roller :) Gorgeous card.
I JUST got in an order from MFT and got that rose die!!! I haven't tried it out yet. I used my wave die first. I love their stuff!!!

Gorgeous Wanda - now I have to have those roses -thanks enabler!
Wow, LOVE the roses! Is there a trick to making them so beautiful? I have struggled to get mine to even look half way decent. :(
Gorgeous card, as always!
Love the double layered leaves and the string of daisies on this one, cool!
