Tipsy Hearts

It's an overcast Friday and the decorations from Christmas are now put away for another year. Nothing like having extra time off work to get inky for some new challenges!  Jen posted a new sketch for Reverse Confetti's Sketch For You To Try Challenge and it's a great one!  Stacy has a fabulous winter wonder photo inspiration photo for the January Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.  Loved the neutrals and white/beige color combo, the textures and the shine.  I added white Liquitex modeling paste with a Simon Says Stamp large dotted stencil to create the horizontal border.  The silver teapot inspired me to use brushed silver cardstock to die cut the arrow and the basket weave and yarn fringe led me to use jute twine to embellish.  I sponged all the edges with Antique Linen distress ink.  Loved the end result of a Valentine in non-traditional colors!

STAMPS: Crushin' by Reverse Confetti.
PAPER: Follow Your Heart 6x6 pad by MME; White (PTI), Brushed silver CS (SU).
INK: Antique Linen distress ink by Tim Holtz, Basic Gray (SU).
ACCESSORIES: Tipsy Hearts die by Sizzix, Arrow and Notebook border dies by Reverse Confetti, Jute twine, Naturals Collection button by SU, Liquitex modeling paste, Large dot stencil by Simon Says Stamp.

A lovely card, I'm partial to polka dots! The neutral colors with that bit of aqua are very pleasing. Gotta love that arrow and the two hearts.
