Mojo Monday

Another week (and month) has rolled on by, and now it's time for another of Julee's great sketches for the Mojo Monday Challenge! I wanted to give the illusion of the base panel, so I masked off a rectangular area using printer paper, and stamped the arrow border over and over in More Mustard ink.  It's not an ink color I use often, but thought it matched this DP well...plus the arrows pointing upward indicates the direction of my prayers - lol!  I layered a button over a wooden flower embellishment and attached it with a large glue dot.  I ordered sequins from Avery Elle and just love them!  Think I got nearly every color they had. :-)  I love that each color packet has two shades and two sizes of that color!

What else did I use?
STAMPS: Wonderfully Made (sentiment), Borderline (arrows) - both by Verve
PAPER: Blomma by Jessica Swift, Old Olive, White
INK: More Mustard, Versafine Onyx Black
ACCESSORIES: Corner chomper, Sequins, Wooden embellishment (Recollections), Button.

For more details and inspiration from the other mojomakers, be sure and head over to the Mojo Monday Challenge blog!  Remember... it's contest week and you have a chance to win some free Verve with this sketch!

I've retired from nursing but it was my calling for sure. Your card is so sweet. I love the colors.

Such a fun take on the sketch, Wanda! Love the arrows for the one panel and darling wooden flower.
