I wanted to play along with the current Word Art Wednesday challenge where "Anything Goes" and the inspiration scripture is from Proverbs 4:18. It describes God as the God of light who lights up our path and shines on us even when there may be many bumps in the road!
I used an old embossing folder that gives the look of rays of light in the background. I also rubbed Versamark ink over the EF before running it through the Big Shot. I then added WOW Sunburst embossing powder that combines flecks of yellow and orange. To pick up those highlights, I cut the dahlia dies from watercolor paper and colored with distress inks. The sentiment was stamped with pigment ink then clear embossed. I also layered two pieces of vellum together which still lets the rays show through slightly.
STAMPS: Psalm Reflections: July (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire, Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn distress inks; Versafine Clair Nocturne; Versamark.
PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Lemon Tart, Vellum (Papertrey Ink); Watercolor paper by Ranger.
DIES: Into the Blooms: Dahlia, Ripped Banners (Papertrey Ink).
OTHER: Sunburst embossing folder and embossing powder; Brads; Clear embossing powder.
Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to let others see your light shining! ~Wanda
