The Paper Players challenge is asking us to create a CAS design with a fruit theme. One of my favorite summertime dies is the watermelon slices set from My Favorite Things. I smooshed a variety of distress inks onto my glass mat then "picked up" the colors using Ranger water color paper. The "bite" die is such a fun detail!
STAMPS: Sweet Sentiments (My Favorite Things).
INK: Candied Apple, Abandoned Coral, Lumberjack Plaid, Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness distress inks (Ranger); Versamark.
PAPER: Stamper's Select White, True Black (Papertrey Ink); Licorice 6x6 pad by Bazzill Basics Paper.
DIES: Watermelon Slice, Layered Tags, Stitched Rectangle STAX, Blueprints 27, Sweet Sentiments (MFT).
OTHER: Black thread; White embossing powder.

Wanda, this is as sweet as can be! I love this card so much! The black and white patterns look great together and the watermelon just pops off the card. YUM! Thank you for making my challenge shine this week!
Wanda... your watermelon slices look delicious! Fabulous coloring. Yum. Love the black background... the houndstooth paper is so unique. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with The Paper Players this week.
