Roses are Pink

I took a different approach to using some alcohol ink panels and used then for die cutting instead of backgrounds. Brian King has a great new sketch for the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge.  For the corner triangle element, I used the honeycomb die from Tim Holtz' set of four thinlit dies by Sizzix.  I love that it gives a subtle triangle instead of a direct line.  I "lined" the die cut area with a very pale gray cardstock color. I was also inspired by the inspiration photo for
The Card Concept challenge (love that rustic chair and the gorgeous flowers!) and this also fits the photo at Time Out Challenges where the gold, gray and pink florals especially caught my eye. With Altenew sponsoring the Time Out Challenges, I chose their beautiful Fantasy Floral die as the focal point.

I used Copic refills and Pinata Brass metallic mixative on Yupo
paper.  For the circle element, I cut a double die stitched circle from shiny gold cardstock.

STAMPS: Label Love (Altenew).
PAPER: White (PTI), Yupo (Ranger), Gold Mirror (Altenew), Grout Gray (My Favorite Things).
DIES: Fantasy Floral Die by Altenew; Tim Holtz Alterations thinlit dies by Sizzix; Stitched Circle STAX Die-Namics by My Favorite Things.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
