I just completed a fun blog hop on the Flourishes blog and decided to play right away after gathering the 8 clues along the way. This is for a chance to win their next next release, so I'm crossing my fingers and toes...you know I love their images! I'll show you my ornament card that swings open with a brad fastener...
...and here are the 8 requirements for our creations:
1. Anything but an A2 card
2. Use a floral
3. Add ribbon or lace
4. Inspiration photo (on right)
5. Add a tag
6. Add rounded corner or die w/curvy edges
7. Add antique flair w/distressing or sponging
8. Use die cut or punch
I'll have to admit I used only a smidgen of sponging (on the tag) and I was inspired by the gorgeous colors in the inpsiration photo. On the inside, I stamped sentiments and a smaller poinsettia stamped off once in Wisteria Wonder ink.
Here's what I used:
STAMPS: Poinsettia and Boxwood (Flourishes),Vintage Ornaments (Waltzingmouse Stamps)
PAPER: X-Press It Blending Card, White by PTI
INK: Memento Tuxedo Black, Cool Caribbean, Gemstone brad
ACCESSORIES: Ornament die by SB, Yellow Stickles, Copics, Tiny tags die by PTI.
Thanks for stopping by...now it's time to get some things crossed off my to do list in preparation for this busy season!
