Freshly Made Sketches

This has been a most confusing week with the July 4th holiday falling on a Thursday! It felt like a Saturday and now I'm adjusting to the fact that it's Friday - lol! I couldn't wait to ink up this new Flowers in Bloom set by My Favorite Things and paired it up with a Hello sentiment die from Simon Says Stamp and a background die - Square and Circle Frame - from Reverse Confetti! I thought the die was perfect for the layout of the new Freshly Made Sketches challenge!

I stamped the image twice with my MISTI using Memento Tuxedo Black, then stamped a third time with Versamark so I could clear emboss it. This makes it easier to color with Zig watercolor brush markers.  The blooms remind me of poppies which is why I colored them with orange/red hues.  The background color is Iced Aqua CS by Reverse Confetti.

OK...now for some housework. Yes, I'd rather be stamping.
