Wet Paper Stamping

Joan Ervin has a new Technique Lovers Challenge on SCS to try wet paper stamping. I first wet my watercolor paper panel using a wet paper towel. I then stamped the snowflakes using Perfect Plum. I heat set it until dry, then stamped the snowflakes in Real Red. The bleeding of the plum ink gives a shadowy effect to the image. I used Julee's Mojo Monday sketch for the layout...a good one to use several borders. Another Christmas card done!
STAMPS: Christmas in the Air (Verve)
PAPER: Mitten Weather (Cosmo Cricket), Perfect Plum, Garden Green, White
INK: Perfect Plum, Real Red
ACCESSORIES: Modern Garland border punch (MS), Tim Holtz Ornate die, Brads, Ribbon
