SC, CTD & New Blog Award

I first want to give a big THANK YOU to Judi Rose (jovialjudi) for giving me my beautiful blogger award! This means a lot coming from a dirty girl - lol! I was excited to see the CTD Challenge colors (Perfect Plum, Early Espresso, Vanilla) because I could go to a fave DP pad by Cosmo Cricket! I use these whimsical Verve trees a lot & love to paper piece them. The card is lacking something, so think I'll go back and add some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the snowflakes. :-) The layout is another of Roxie's great Sketch Challenges on SCS. Still no heat in the house and it was in the 40's when I got up. I'll be glad when I don't have to sleep in my winter robe and socks anymore! Happy Wednesday to all...only 2 more days till my girlfriend trip to York, PA!

STAMPS: Christmas in the Air (Verve), Tiny Tags (SU)
PAPER: Mitten Weather DP (Cosmo Cricket), Vintage Vanilla (PTI), Early Espresso
INK: Early Espresso
ACCESSORIES: CB, Swiss Dots EF, Snowflake punch, Satin ribbon, Tiny Tags punch (SU)

I think the cold is getting to you Wanda as you have changed your blog BG again!! I thought I had the wrong blog at first LOL! Hope they can get that furnace up and running SOON!! You'll be wearing a touque and mittens soon if they don't LOL! In the meantime, run some stairs to get warm!

Beautiful card and I can see why you love that DP - it's gorgeous. Great use of the sketch and the colour combo.

Run some stairs???? I think Marissa is still on the "grunge"-wasn't that the name of the hill?

I'm a little farther South and we are having unseasonably cool weather- 40's this am. Hope they get the furnace going soon!!!

Have that dp and need to get it out- wonderful use of the dp, colors, and sketch!! Have fun on your trip to PA!!
