Color Throwdown #788

Hi crafty friends! It's time for a new Color Throwdown challenge! Lynn is hosting with a great spring color palette of pink, green and yellow. Once again, I gravitated to this gorgeous new big bloom die set just released by Papertrey Ink. It's easy to color blend and easy to assemble!

I color blended the flower and leaves with brushes and distress inks then splattered with water. The background has a watercolored look with splatters that were created using PTI's newly released Watercolor Wonderful Stencil Collection.

STAMPS: Birthday Tag Kit (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness, Crushed Olive distress inks; Versafine Clair Nocturne.
PAPER: Stampers Select White, Lovely Lady, New Leaf (PTI).
DIES: Into the Blooms: Big Bloom, Psalm Reflections: October, Birthday Tag Kit (Papertrey Ink).

We'd love to have you join us in the challenge! Hope to see you in the gallery...happy stamping!  ~Wanda

I need to get more familiar with Distress inks because this flower is so pretty! I love the little spots on it for texture. Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog, I appreciate your time and sweet words!! Hugs!
