We Love You Dawn! Blog Hop
Many Papertrey Ink fans are participating in a special We Love Dawn blog hop today as we cheer on, pray for and celebrate Dawn McVey! Dawn - a longtime design team member for PTI - recently received a special organ transplant after a very LONG fight with health issues! In spite of her long struggle, she remained so upbeat and inspiring as she shared her journey through social media posts! Her creative talents have resulted in numerous stamp sets and dies for PTI and we were to use something she designed in our creations. I used her Cover Up: Diamonds background stamp and paired it with her Delightful Dahlia Additions stamp set. I sponged 4 Reverse Confetti inks on the background: Bumblebee Yellow, Lime Green, Tangerine and Iced Aqua which creates a subtle rainbow. The dahlias were layered using 3 ink colors from RC: Buttercup, Sunshine and Rust. I used a Copic Multi Liner pen to add tiny black dots to the floral centers. The card base is PTI's Harvest Gold cardstock.

I don't think I've ever see that set done in yellows, and it's gorgeous! Beautifully done, Wanda. She will love the card.
Wanda, i have this stamp set and love it. Your color choice is awesome. I´ve never thought them in yellow and kraft - i will give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
