Color Throwdown #459

It's hump day and that means another Color Throwdown Challenge is on board! Vickie is our hostess and has a classy, timeless color combo - red, black and white - that I totally love!  I often have to brainstorm for a good while before a card idea comes to fruition, but this was a no brainer!  I immediately went for MFT's Striped Sentiment Strip Cover Plate die and Impression Obsession's Hydrangea Set.  I watercolored with Mijello Mission paints on Ranger watercolor cardstock using 2 different shades of red: Permanent Rose and Crimson Lake, then die cut the hydrangea petals.  I'm calling the bit of green a neutral color - lol.

STAMPS: Hydrangea Set (Impression Obsession).
PAPER: White (PTI), Licorice (MFT), Lime Green (Reverse Confetti), Ranger Watercolor CS.
INK: Lime Green (Reverse Confetti), Versamark.
DIES: Hydrangea Set (IO), Stitched Sentiment Strips and Striped Sentiement Strip Cover Plate Die-Namics by MFT.

We're happy to welcome back the talented Tammy Hershberger from Stamp Happy who is joining us as a guest designer this month!  Tammy was formerly a full time design team member, so it's like having family back in the gallery!

We'd love to have you joining us in the challenge this week! For more details on how to play along, head over to the Color Throwdown Blog and you'll find the information on the right sidebar!  You can also visit the rest of the design team's creations for more inspiration by clicking on the links below:
