MFT Wednesday Sketch

This is a simple sketch for this week's Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge on the MFT forum on SCS. It was perfect for highlighting a sentiment, though I struggled with matching the outline stamp to the die cut! I think Freud had a name for people like me - lol! The flower is die cut from Terra Cotta felt by PTI using the rolled flower die from MFT. The doily lace border (MFT) was die cut from Early Espresso CS. Sponging was done using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink. The button is also by Tim Holtz. DP is from the beautiful Curio collection by BasicGrey.

Love the colors and flower with antique brad!! There is a trick to using that stamp/die set. Go to the MFT forum on SCS and look at the thread for week 4 sketch. Towards the end Jody gives the tip on getting it on the block correctly and a link to Bar's blog for cutting with the die. If you don't find it let me know and I will get it to you!!!
