Just Mason Around

As a pun lover, I was thrilled to see Betsy Veldman's name of her Mason jar stamp set was "Just Mason Around"! I don't know about you, but I am really over winter! The temperatures are so cold plus the wind is blowing a lot and makes it feel even colder. Yes, I'm whining, but decided I was going to bring some spring time feels into my crafty space and create with flowers!

I love tic-tac-toe challenges and that is what Laurie is bringing to the table over at The Paper Players challenge blog. I went with the vertical column of diecut, red and stencil. I hope I'm OK with just a little red happening - lol! The hexagon stenciled background was on my "extras" pile and I thought it would work well with these colors.

Here is what I used...

STAMPS: Just Mason Around, Bigger Blooms, Sentiment Suite: Birthday (The Greetery).

PAPER: White (Ink to Paper).

INK: Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Sweet Blush, Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy, Bright Buttercup, Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, New Leaf, Ocean Tides, Gentle Moss, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avocado, True Black; Twisted Citron distress oxide ink used with stencil.

DIES: Crimped Frame, Bigger Blooms, Sentiment Suite Basics (The Greetery).

OTHER: Hexagon stencil (Papertrey Ink), Black Enamel Accents.

That's it for now. I'm going to tackle programming a new remote control with my craft room TV. Wish me luck because I'm not a "techy" person!                                            ~Wanda

I'm whining right along with you, Wanda - this is when enough is enough of this stuff! Although, after the big snow, it was sunny today, as if to say, "I'm still here - be patient!" Love your card today - it made me smile!

I can spot The Greetery a mile away...I still have that crimped border on my wish list and love the jar of flowers on your card. Very pretty scene!
