Color Throwdown #615

It's time again for a new Color Throwdown challenge and Amy has picked some great fall colors: orange, kraft and black! I pulled some patterned papers in kraft and rust (that's dark orange...right?) and die cut these fall leaves from Ink to Paper's Leaves in Fall stamp/die set that is in their October release. You'll be able to buy this set tomorrow at 10 PM EST.

This long branch die works perfectly on a slimline card. The textured

chevron base was splattered with black paint before the leaves were assembled to the branch. I added some black vein highlights with a gel pen to the larger leaves and added white gel pen accents to the smaller rust leaves.

STAMPS: Leaves in Fall (Ink to Paper).

PAPER: Golden Rod patterned paper by Recollections; Moe patterned paper by 7gypsies; Classic kraft, True Black, Rustic Cream by Ink to Paper.

INK: Orange Zest, Dark Cocoa (Ink to Paper).

DIES: Leaves in Fall (Ink to Paper).

OTHER: Oval punch (SU), Black jute twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting!   ~Wanda

Wanda I have such a hard time getting inspired by neutrals - your card is amazing! You rocked this!
