Welcome back to the second reveal day of the October release at Ink to Paper! Today we are introducing you to Joyous Holiday Stamp Set and Dies + In Stitches: Banner, In Stitches: Banner Accessories, In Stitches: Noel Dies + Bag-It Holiday Stamp Set + Ornament Greetings Stamp Set and Dies. It's a long post, so grab a drink and enjoy!
Initially, I had thought I would create a Christmas banner but then I went outside the box and spelled O-N-E to celebrate a fall birthday baby turning one. It could be displayed on a high chair tray or it could just be hung in the party room.
I fell in love with this patterned paper from a 6x6" pad by Recollections and those pastel colors were what inspired my choices in card stock and ribbons.
I thought the unicorn would pair up well with a rainbow, so I inked up some images from the Playful Patterns set. The pumpkin image reminded me of the letter "O" in One, so that was used to layer over the stitched "O".
The miniature clothes pins made it easy to attach the banner to white cording. I embellished with some white crocheted flowers, pearl brads and leaves die cut from the Floral Delicacies die set.

The pair of adorable birds had a whimsical feel which led me to paper piecing them in country patterns. A variety of textures (jute twine, burlap, wood embellishments) add a lot more interest to a card plus they continued the rustic, country feel of the design.

Ink to Paper is offering these plain kraft and white gift bags in two sizes for an easy option to decorate and gift some sweet treats!
The larger bag was perfect to fill with some kettle corn (placed first into a gallon ziplock bag) made by a local family in our community. I may or may not have had a taste test and yes...it was yummy! The ribbon cluster was attached using a large glue dot.
The smaller sized bag was filled with some homemade chocolate chip cookies from a local family bakery. I embellished the bag with ribbon, jingle bells, and leafy "ribbon".
Last but not least is a card using some different than usual colors for Christmas!
I was inspired by some black and white ornaments I saw on Pinterest which is what led to my design.
