Color Throwdown #613

There's a new Color Throwdown challenge happening and Broni is hosting with some beautiful fall colors: red, orange and purple! There was no question I would use the Lovely Leaves set by Ink to Paper and color with distress oxide inks.

I generally used two and sometimes three different ink colors on each of the leaves. The plaid is very subtle with Fairy Dust ink (WPlus9) on white. I wanted to accent with some fine black twigs so took the branch die from the Dear Friend set and cut a couple of them apart.

STAMPS: Nifty Plaid, Lovely Leaves, Take Your Place, Dear Friend (Ink to Paper).

PAPER: Soft Stone, Stampers Select White (Ink to Paper).

INK: Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, Festive Berries, Barn Door, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, Spiced Marmalade, Crackling Campfire (distress oxide inks by Ranger); True Black (Ink to Paper); Fairy Dust (WPlus9).

DIES: Lovely Leaves, Skinny Frames: Diagonal Border (Ink to Paper); Stitched Circle and Rectangle STAX Die-Namics (My Favorite Things).

We would love to have you play along with us! Link up your creation on the Color Throwdown blog and be sure to check out the rest of the design team's creations for more inspiration!

What a beautiful take on the CTD Palette this week! I love the framed layering combined with the graceful leaf draped layout! This is truly gorgeous!
