Happy New Year to all my blog friends! May 2020 treat you kindly and bring you many blessings! We are starting off the new year with a great Color Throwdown challenge! Amy Rohl is our hostess and has chosen red, brown and white. You'll have to overlook my wee bit of "neutral" sage green - lol!
This card reminds me of those mild spring seasons when it gets warm earlier than usual and things start blooming. Then...boom...it snows a bit and you're reminded that winter is still not totally gone. I wanted some texture in the background and couldn't resist this embossing folder from SU called Softly Falling.
What else did I use?
STAMPS: Blooming Branch, Comforting Commands, Robin and Wren (The Greetery).
PAPER: Patterned paper (? source), White (Papertrey Ink).
INK: Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand (SU); Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries, Barn Door, Fired Brick, Frayed Burlap, Bundled Sage, Wild Honey distress inks by Ranger.
DIES: Comforting Commands, Robin and Wren, Blooming Branch (The Greetery); Stitched Border (Lil' Inker Designs).

Absolutely beautiful Wanda!
Love this card Wanda - happy new year wishes and creative blessings to you too! I spotted tulips popping up in my garden yesterday - yet I'm sure we've not had the worst of our winter yet with snow still due at some point! Hugs, Joanne x
Sweet! Love the bold red and white stripes with your sweet bird
