Good Friday everyone! Looking forward to a day off that includes watching two grands this afternoon! I'm playing along with the current CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge and whipped out this quick card with a leftover tree from a previous project where I used the negative die space. The background was white embossed using a woodgrain stamp then a light watercolor wash using Cracked Pistachio and Evergreen Bough distress inks was added. It took me longer to decide what papers to use than it did to assemble the card - lol! #thestruggleisreal
DIES: Edge Essentials and Winter Words by Reverse Confetti;
Christmas Tree #2 by Sizzix.
PAPER: Sweater Weather by MME; Kraft; Metallic Gold.
I work at a large comprehensive rehabilitation center where we get a daily email from one of the training program specialists who adds a thought for the day. Today's thought struck my funny bone and thought I'd share it here: WE NEED A 12-STEP GROUP FOR COMPULSIVE TALKERS. THEY COULD CALL IT ON ANON ANON.
And to that I'll add one of my favorite lines... Smile. You're never fully dressed until you wear one!
