Are you ready for a new and fabulous color combination? Joan has some happy shades for us and since I had so much fun with the bokeh technique on Monday, I went with it again...this time for a birthday!
Rather than spell out all the steps in this post, I'll refer you to Dawn at WPlus9 who has a great tutorial HERE.
Here's what I used:
STAMPS: PTI "Garden Grace".
PAPER: Tim Holtz watercolor CS, Raspberry Fizz and Orange Zest (PTI). Scrap of yellow (?), White (PTI).
INK: Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade - distress inks by Tim Holtz; Versafine Onyx Black.
ACCESSORIES: Bitty Banners Framelits (SU), Avery Elle sequins, Happy die by PTI, Corner chomper, Black thread, Balloon punch, Dotted swiss embossing folder, Homemade "ghetto" stencil for bokeh technique, Sponges.
We are really thrilled to have the talented Lisa Henke as our guest stamper for the month of September! Woohoo and welcome, Lisa!
Our star stamper this week is another talented stamper that I happen to follow...Kim Singdahlsen! Always love her work! Be sure and play along with us this week and you just might be in the spotlight next week by being our guest star stamper! You don't have to have exact colors to play along, but you do need to have a close resemblance. Be sure and link your creation to the linky tool at the bottom of the current challenge post on the Color Throwdown Challenge blog.
