Verve Beach Party Challenge #2
Julee Tilman's 2nd sketch for her release party this week reminded me of a sun peeking out, so I inked up an image from Verve's 'Let it Shine' set. I rotated a piece of paper and sponged along the edge to create rays. The trees were colored with Copics (YG17, YG21, YG23), cut out & popped with dimensionals. The DP was from a matstack called Pocket full of Posies by DCWV...found at TJ Maxx today! I was so excited when I entered the store and found an entire display of scrapbook supplies at VERY reasonable prices! Summer Sun is one of 2 SU colors that I will be sad to see retire (the other one is Green Galore). Guess all good things must come to an end - lol! Hope your day is (or was) a sunny one...thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Fun card, Wanda. Love the rays of sunshine and good for you getting a sketch done already! I SO sad Mellow Moss and Sage Shadow are leaving. With making so many flower cards greens are always a must. Congrats on the snag at TJ Max :D Always love a bargain!
This is beautiful, Wanda! That set is so perfect for this sketch! I love the rays of sunshine, and the little scene you created with the trees! I need to get movin' on my cards :)
I adore these sun rays!! What a wonder you are, Wanda, making a card that works for all these challenges. I think ONCE I combined three,, but never four!! I sure love all the bright colors, and that fun tree!!!
You are too clever.. It does look like a sun.. Great rays..I will have to check out our TJ Maxx.. Great job Wanda..
Very nicely done...
