Sunflower Birthday

 

I am playing along with Freshly Made Sketches and with Just Us Girls challenges where it's mood board week. I'm needing a birthday card soon, so thought I could make it work with the sunflower dies from Papertrey Ink. The "stripe" was stenciled using Honey Nut and Dark Chocolate inks.

 

I die cut the florals from Bristol Smooth Paper then color blended using brushes and splattered with gold paint after everything dried. The gold foiled script was in my leftover pile.

INK: Bright Buttercup, Summer Sunrise, Limeade Ice, New Leaf, Simply Chartreuse, Honey Nut, Cocoa Bean, Dark Chocolate (PTI).

PAPER: Bristol Smooth Surface; Stampers Select White, Spring Moss (PTI).

DIES: Into the Blooms: Sunflowers, Love to Layer: Scalloped Diamonds, Reflections: July (PTI).

OTHER: Gold foil; Gold paint (Gansai Tambi); Elegant Script hot foil plate (PTI).
