Happy hump day everyone! It's time for another Color Throwdown challenge and this week we are using orange, green and brown. I wanted to use this new (to me) Stitching Cover Plate die after receiving a beautiful card earlier in the year with it used as a background behind a floral frame. I used a stamp/stencil/die combo from The Greetery to create this card.
I color blended 3 different shades of orange ink for the background and it's hard to see the variegated colors after stamping the sentiment in Dark Chocolate dye ink. I embellished with sequins and Bubble Blowers. After gluing the frame to the coverplate die background, I used foam tape to raise that panel for added dimension.
STAMPS: Floral Frame, Opposites Attract (The Greetery).
INK: Dark Chocolate, Terracotta Tile (Papertrey Ink); Grassy Knoll, Olive, Apricot, Clementine, Persimmon (Pinkfresh Studio).
PAPER: Soft Suede (Stampin' Up); White (PTI).
DIES: Floral Frame, Opposites Attract, Opposites Attract Script (The Greetery); Stitching Coverplate Large (Paper Rose Studio).
OTHER: Moonshine sequins (PTI); Bubble Blower embellishment mix (Trinity Stamps).
Thanks for stopping by and hope to you in the CTD gallery! ~Wanda

Lovely card. Lots of detail with the cover plate, the floral frame (colored beautifully I might add) and the pretty sequins.
Lovely card Wanda. I can see why you wanted that coverplate background die - love it. You made a beautiful frame with those pretty flowers.
Such a beautiful card Wanda! Love everything about it!
Wanda, you showcased this set beautifully, and I love the stitched background die. It adds so much texture but doesn't detract from those gorgeous florals. Love the color combo, too!
